Subject What IE is not..

Hi,

Read about the blog- IE in action. And i thought its a wonderful way to get them involved and thr the involvement, they develop their own 5Cs. I wanted to share my own version of what ie is not. I wanted to comment in the blog, but i didnt have the access to comment.
Anyways,here's my version:

IE is not..

IE is not something which you can never find in our textbooks.

In fact IE is something you can never learn from our lecturers.

Thank the school for such a module,

As this is a chance for us to realise our true potential.


I think our true potential is like the sun hidden behind the clouds on a cloudy day.

The clouds are made up of all our wrong beliefs, our comfort zone, our fears,

And all you need,

It’s a strong gust of passion, a strong gust of courage,

To blow it all away,

And you shall reveal the mighty SUN.

I’m a NP Alumni,

I’ve realized the importance of the 5Cs,

And I have revealed my mighty SUN.

PS: I would like to congratulate you for making the effort to read this, this shows that you are on the path to reveal your mighty sun. I wish you all the best and I know you can. LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST & opps.. the BRIGHTEST.

FYI, you people are lucky, how I wish I have such a module during my NP time. I could have a sunny poly experience.

An Inconvenient Truth

I finally got to watch the movie 'An Inconvenient Truth' this evening at Great World City (they're only showing it there I think).

The film is actually a presentation and documentary about global warming, done in a very powerful and engaging and moving way. Yes, global warming issues can actually be engaging and moving.

(Ok, it's probably not as exciting as Casino Royale, but it's definitely a lot more meaningful and important.)

The journey to the top is never straight forward. We often have to take routes which makes the most sense where we are. IE is about having that focus towards a destination while making diversions in creative manner TOWARDS our objectives.

Sometimes, size does matters ... but DETERMINATION matters MORE ...

The greatest obstacles in life is not being tied down or being physically incapable, it is not having that WILL to overcome. Life's greatest obstacles resides in our own MINDS ...

I&E is not..

By just looking at this I&E module from the outside, everyone will think that its a boring module or just something very typical and not interesting. But after attending the first few lessons, i realise it is quite interesting and it is completely different form what i think. I&E is not boring at all, i teaches me lots of things that i've not been across. I&E is not a slack module! i thought that i can slack in this yrs IS but i cant now. SO SAD..

hello, im jansen, im from accountancy year 2. i don't why i chose accountacy, its my six choice. I actually wanted to get in to business studies but my results can't get me in. Therefore, no choice for me, i must remain in this stupid course. Im 18 this yr, im from Compassvale Secondary School, a very lousy sec sch with lousy teachers and lousy principal. i played basketball, played for my sec school and now playing for np school team. Recently, we got second for the POL-ITE cup. Im super talkative and full of nonsense, just bear with me la. ha. I joined I&E environment because magesh chose it, ya, this module is quite interesting. yup thats all, see ya next time.
