About lessons next Monday ...

Dear Class,

We'll be meeting back at Blk 56-04-0004 again for Monday's class at 9am. Will be using the time for you folks to do some brain-storming on what activities you wish to mount for this module.

... and btw, how come so many of you have not given me your self intro ?!!!

Cheers,

Week 1: introduction - shaun

I'm Shaun. I'm from the School of FMS - FSV. My foremost passion is music. That accounts for (I think) 90% of my time, free or not. Figuring out why music means so much to me is constantly on my mind, and it only gets off when music begins.

I joined Environment because I really thought I was going to learn about the environment.
Oh well, I guess even if the IS website was more updated I sill would have chosen env. I'm a natgeog subscriber, and I feel affected reading the articles about our beautiful, but dying earth. Since last semester I have never handed up any work on new sheets; I use recycled paper and I designed a sticker that I paste on explaining why I'm not following the assignment guideline that only one-sided A4 BLANK SHEETS can be used. (any FMS student should know this rule!) Of course, being the person I am, I never expected to accept any rejection of the recycled sheets since I could think of no conceivable reason why the rule, compared against the bakdrop of a dying forest, made sense.

Then again, I'm convinced that the earth can only be well preserved and taken care of only with the full endorsement and support of the Governments of the world, and that there is little an individual can do to contribute. Maybe this module can change my opinion?
